Can’t See the Label When You’re in the Bottle

In our daily lives we often find ourselves stuck within the confines of our own perceptions, unable to see beyond the familiar lines that we are used to. Trying to get clarity beyond these boundaries can be confusing or feel far away. It can feel life trying to read the label from inside the bottle: impossible. When people feel stuck in life or unsure about a path forward, it is often suggested to seek outside input. Going to our “Kitchen Cabinets” of trusted friends, families, and partners can provide helpful suggestions and insights. These different perspectives can allow for new insights or information. However, there may be some points at life where we might seek support outside of our usual support network.
